InfoQ
Équipe de recherche en physique de l’information quantique (EPIQ)
This series of weekly seminars, organized by the Department of Physics, reports on advances in quantum information physics. These seminars are intended for ÉPIQ members and are held from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. In terms of form, 2/3 of the presentations are made by students and 1/3 by professors or guest speakers.
What is the ÉPIQ
The Quantum Information Physics Research Team, EPIQ, is a research centre of the Université de Sherbrooke. The research carried out within this team aims to exploit the quantum behaviour of matter for information processing purposes. The team includes an experimental research component as well as a theoretical component. The EPIQ is composed of four professors, doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s students (cooperative internships), as well as post-doctoral fellows, all members of the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science.
