About
The Université de Sherbrooke Cancer Research Institute (IRCUS), recognized as a research institute by the Université de Sherbrooke, brings together over 100 professor-researchers, with varied expertise, from six faculties (Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Human Kinetics, Engineering, Law and Education).
In addition to conducting high-calibre research activities, we train the next generation of students and professionals who are essential to continue the fight against cancer.
IRCUS can also rely on a stellar, 40-year partnership with the Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CRCHUS), with which most of our professor-researchers are affiliated to one of its six research axes.
The purpose of the IRCUS is to develop synergistic and innovative interdisciplinary research, to reduce the impact of cancer on those affected.
