Chairholder of the CIBC Research Chair in Financial Integrity and Associate Professor

Hyacinthe Y. Somé is an associate professor in the Department of Finance at the School of Management of the University of Sherbrooke. He holds a Ph.D. in Administration from HEC Montreal and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Montreal. His main research topics are corporate governance, social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions, competitiveness, innovation and the impact of laws, standards and regulations. The results of his research appear in major scientific journals such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, Financial Management.
