Our research program is made up of 4 interconnected specific objectives, involving fundamentals and applications of crystal engineering applied to green chemistry and sustainable materials. 

Each specific objective has its foundation in approaches to crystal engineering and organic crystal design pioneered and being innovatively advanced by the MacGillivray group. The specific objectives of our research program are to develop, understand, and exploit research in crystal engineering in 4 key areas:
