Estelle Desjarlais

Estelle Desjarlais is a doctoral student in education at the Université du Québec à Montréal, under the supervision of Professors Patrice Potvin (UQAM) and Jean-Philippe Ayotte-Beaudet (Université de Sherbrooke). Her area of expertise focuses on the didactics of science and technology (S&T) at primary level, and on the professional development of teachers in this field. Her doctoral research explores the role of wonder as an emotion at the heart of ST learning and teaching.  Estelle, who has a passion for nature, the outdoors and educational innovation, has been involved in various CRÉPA projects and activities for several years.
