Jessie Lepage

Jessie Lepage is an ilnu Master's student in Education and a lecturer at the Université de Sherbrooke. She holds a technical diploma in respiratory therapy and a bachelor's degree in vocational and technical education. Her research interests focus on the learning path of Aboriginal students, Aboriginal pedagogy, the inclusion of Aboriginal perspectives in education, decolonization and Aboriginalization of academic institutions, and cultural safety. Drawing on her personal experience and her commitment to the self-determination of Quebec's First Peoples, her master's project focuses on the learning path of Aboriginal students in vocational training relocated to Aboriginal communities.
