Institut quantique (IQ)
The major investment from the Canada First Research Excellence Fund enabled us in 2016 to create IQ, a unique research institute with a primary focus on science and quantum technologies.
The IQ gathers experts in quantum materials, quantum information, and quantum engineering to conduct high-quality research work and develop the quantum technologies of the future.
Our institute has cutting-edge experimental research and digital computing infrastructure, managed by a team of highly qualified research professionals and technicians. We provide a dynamic research environment which includes summer schools, weekly seminars, and annual workshops on quantum materials, quantum information, mesoscopic physics, or digital methods. Research at the Institut quantique is conducted in a spirit of collaboration reinforced by numerous well-established relationships with researchers from other countries.
