Climatoscope: Popular Scientific Journal on Climate Change
Climate change is at the heart of public debate. While many are hitting the streets to express their concerns for the future of the planet, how are science and research approaching this major issue?
To highlight academic research activities related to climate and to promote scientific advancement in this field, a team of UdeS researchers is producing a popular scientific journal in French for a well-informed, but not specialized readership. This annual publication gathers articles drafted by researchers from a number of disciplines (health, management, politics, philosophy, biology, engineering, and geomatics) from the Université de Sherbrooke and across the province.
By disseminating scientific knowledge on climate change, this research project directly contributes to raising awareness, developing abilities, and reflecting on problems, challenges, and solutions to face this reality.
