Mental Health Barometer
The Projet Baromètre perfectly illustrates the mission and people-centred values of research at the Université de Sherbrooke, placing users and their loved ones as its core concern.
Initiated by Professor Paul Morin, Scientific Director of the Institut universitaire de première ligne en santé et services sociaux, the project has led to the creation of a very tangible collaborative tool to help people with mental health issues. It allows users to conduct an overall assessment of their quality of life, map out their social network, develop a personalized and interactive action plan, and track their progress. This way, professionals share common information and have a better grasp of the situation. The Projet Baromètre has been implemented in multiple contexts in Québec and in France.
