Brief review of descriptive statistics and the calculation of probabilities. Basic principles of statistical inference.  Univariate analyses on mean, variance, proportions, shape of a distribution. Bivariate analyses: correlation, simple linear regression, single-factor analysis of variance, contingency table analysis.
