Cible(s) de formation

Collaborative planning of pedagogical and classroom management aspects of an activity focused on carrying on a short-term task for a group of students without special needs at the primary and secondary levels. Implement communication, collaborative and relational principles in support of pedagogical and classroom management intervention. Analyse and regulate one’s choices related to collaboration, communication, pedagogical intervention, and classroom management.

Contenu

Implementation: Styles and models of classroom management. Learning conditions and environments. Group functioning and dynamics. Communication, the role of language and metalanguage in teaching. Communication contract. Reflective approach to actions and attitudes, and to student group dynamics, structure, and organisation. 

Pedagogical relationship: Establishing positive relationships with students: factors, spheres of influence, affect, teacher authority and conduct. Influence of pedagogical relationships on the motivation and the transitions experienced by students. Effective communication: active listening and effective feedback. Reflective approach to the building of and development of pedagogical relationships.

Collaboration: Positive conditions and environments, leadership, sharing of expertise and responsibilities, supportive relationships. School environment: cycle team, content or level team; norms, culture and structural constraints.  

Acting ethically: Reflective approach to values, beliefs, prejudices at play in pedagogical and classroom management interventions.
