Make connections with the foundations of teaching, pedagogical approaches, theories of educational psychology related to psycho-emotional, social and cognitive development in children and adolescents. Describe the sociodemographic characteristics of diverse student populations at the primary and secondary school levels in a Quebec context. Select educational interventions appropriate to students’ needs.
Contenu
Implementation: Scientific foundations of teaching; pedagogical approaches; learning theories. Sociodemographic data related to diverse populations that make up the educational and social fabric of Quebec and Canada. Characteristics of psycho-emotional, social, and cognitive development in children and adolescents; psycho-emotional learning and development processes in children and adolescents. Educational interventions adapted to students’ cognitive and socioemotional needs, and to students’ motivational dynamics at the primary and secondary levels.
